Even though they love and are happy together, Sullivan is worried about Ross’s health and well-being. But when the Mayor asks for a private meeting with Ross. Her boyfriend, Sullivan, is worried about her health and the future of their relationship.

Even though things are bad, there are times of hope and happiness. Maya and Carina decide to adopt Liam, the baby son of a friend who has died. This shows how close they are and how much they want to start a family together.

The episode becomes even more complicated when Travis meets up with Kitty, his ex-girlfriend. When they meet out of the blue, something unexpected happens that could have long-lasting effects.

At the end of the show, Jack wakes up from surgery, which means that he and the team can start over. They are ready to face whatever comes their way, even though they know it will be hard.
