On Supergirl Season 6 Episode 16, Nia had a vision that brought her to her sister Maeve’s house, where they surprised each other. Nia was obsessed with the 5th dimension dream totem. To save the planet, Nia needed it. Maeve said the totem was in her dreams. Nia sought her sister’s entire research. Nyxly was within her suit and it gave her commands. She was ordered to break into a lab and steal tech. Kara was alerted to the break-in and activated Supergirl. She and a few guards faced Nyxly, but the voices told her just how to blast Supergirl and create a gateway to escape. It turned into a nightmarish creature as the gateway collapsed! From the lab window, it expanded to the size of a building, ransacking the city and heading towards a nuclear plant.
Supergirl requested Lena Luthor for help stopping the monster, so she fashioned an invisible dome to contain it. Suddenly the thing vanished! Supergirl circled the creature but couldn’t find it. Its energy signal also vanished. They went inside the Dream Expands when Maeve’s pendant started glowing. Now they just had to find the dream totem. But when Nyxly entered the portal, she entered the Dream Expands. The spires in the realm symbolize everyone’s dreams. Nyxly needs simply discover one with the dream totem. She followed the sisters as they searched for the totem. In a golden spire, Nia used magic to lift her sister. Nia changed into Dreamer to grab it. Maeve tried to take it but was horrified when the Oracle said she was not pure blood. Maeve felt she should have been the Dreamer and Nia stole her talents. Nyxly assaulted the siblings’ feud! Dreamer and Nyxly fought over superpowers. Then, just as it seemed Nyxly had Dreamer, Maeve gave her sister the powerful necklace.
But Nyxly had taken the dream totem and built a portal! Kara, meantime, was distracted while preparing for an interview. The Governor was enraged because the Super Friends had erected a dome above the city. She gave them 12 hours to remove it or the military would step in. Normal warfare wouldn’t work on the creature because it was using a form of dream energy. The Super Friends found and defeated the nightmare monster in time to escape a military strike. Supergirl raced back to work as Kara, missing the interview. She told her supervisor she was distracted lately, assigned her duties, and quit! The sisters were able to talk about their issues and make atonement for their past. When Nyxly returned later, the suit demanded she hands up the Dream Totem. and the suit transformed into Lex Luthor!
