Superman and Lois Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
Superman Lois Season 2 Episode 4 Spoilers
On Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 4, “The Inverse Method,” Jenna Dewan is set to reprise her role as Lucy Lane, Lois’s younger sister. This storyline has been set in motion throughout the last few episodes of Superman & Lois, but it’s very clearly stated on the show that this Lucy Lane is not the same one we met on Supergirl. This version of Lucy, like Jordan and Jonathan becoming teenagers, looks to be a result of Crisis. Her sister Lois has a tumultuous connection with her. The ever-changing situation surrounding Lois’ article about Ally Allston and her cult exemplifies this tension. Lois (and Chrissy) may be able to persuade Lucy of the truth of the situation, even if it differs from what Lois expects.

The rift in their relationship is unlikely to be healed by the end of “The Inverse Method,” so we can only hope this isn’t the final appearance of Lucy. Although Dewan is only a guest role as Lucy Lane, it would be good if this episode set the stage for a future episode in which the two sisters reconnect.

Superman and Lois Season 2 Episode 3 Recap
“The Thing in the Mines” makes several false claims about Superman’s options in dealing with his duplicate. Despite promising his daughter, Natalie, that his superhero days were over, John Henry Irons offered his assistance in researching the earthquakes early in the episode. Irons questioned the Man of Steel if there was “someone else you can go to right now?” when Clark and Lois reminded him of his pledge. The Justice League was not mentioned as a possible candidate.
Later in the episode, they sought assistance from Lois’ father, Ret. General Sam Lane. Lane insisted that they contact his successor at the US Department of Defense, Lt. Anderson, and bring in his Supermen of America team once the Bizarro Superman’s nature was revealed. When Clark objected, having intended to avoid having to seek help from Lt. Anderson after their fight, Sam Lane told Clark that he couldn’t take on the Bizarro Superman by himself. When John Henry Irons informed Sam that he wouldn’t be facing the beast alone, Sam questioned whether Irons truly believed “the two of you will be enough.” The prospect of enlisting the help of the Arrowverse Justice League was once again overlooked.
