Fans of Survivor are gearing up for one of the most difficult seasons yet, as Season 42 will put each contestant’s physical and mental strength to the test. The show’s winner will not only be dubbed “Sole Survivor,” but will also walk away with a $1 million award. The Emmy Award-winning series’ diverse ensemble will outwit, outplay, and outlast one another in order to win challenges and gain immunity. The show will premiere in March and the winner will be announced by the presenter at the end of May. The two-decade-old show, which was created by Charlie Parsons, will be hosted by multimillionaire Jeff Probst, who will also serve as executive producer alongside Mark Burnett and Charlie Parsons.

The show will premiere on March 9, 2022, at 8:00 p.m., CBS will broadcast the two-hour Season 42 premiere of Survivor. The next season will be shot on the gorgeous islands of Fiji and will include 18 castaways from all origins and walks of life. The new season will be available on CBS, as well as streaming sites like FuboTV, YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV, and Paramount Plus.
The new season will last for 26 days, much like Season 41. The reality show’s official trailer gave fans a look at “one of the riskiest seasons in the show’s history,” in which every cast member was seen doing difficult tasks. The new season will have numerous twists and turns similar to the previous season, but with a surprising new approach.
Feels Like a Rollercoaster is the title of the first episode. the synopsis reads as Eighteen new castaways begin their battle for $1 million and the title of Sole Survivor.
Three tribes will be featured in the show: Ika, Taku, and Vati. Each team will have six players who will step outside of their comfort zones and compete against opposing teams to win each task as well as the secret immunity idols. The participants will play their games to win immunity tasks to get food, housing, and a one-day supply of bottled water with a limited amount of food and other resources.
