SWAT Season 5 Episode 11 Recap
Officer Alexis Cabrera of the Los Angeles Police Department was hazed. She and other SWAT recruits, at least the female ones, discovered tampons in their lockers, and it’s incredible that anyone thought they could get away with it in this day and age. Cabrera, on the other hand, was not the one who complained. Deac only found out about it when he heard about it through the grapevine. Then he became enraged. He made certain that the individuals who were responsible for the mess cleaned it up, and that the majority of the women who were targeted were unaware of what had happened. Cabrera was the only one who knew. Chris learned about it by seeing the men pick up the tampons, and she made a pledge to herself to speak with Cabrera at the conclusion of her shift. Nobody anticipated that a cyberattack would occur first. Hondo and his squad were responding to a call when they lost contact with Command and had to rely on their old methods to get out of a tight situation. Unfortunately, they were unable to apprehend the evil men since they were advised to flee.
The cyberattack was carried out by the same person who had alerted the group. Shadowbox is another name for it. It was his online identity. He was selling intelligence to the bad guys and putting undercover police in danger. Commander Hicks eventually chose to deactivate SWAT. Everything was supposed to be done by hand. They were forced to rely on their eyes and hands, which didn’t always work out. Chris took a break from the cyberattack investigation to speak with Cabrera. Cabrera stated that she was in good health. and did not want to discuss it. She simply wants to be alone. Everyone was reminiscing about the hazing incident with her. Tan recalled someone once leaving him a dim sum on his chair. Chris recalled how they had taken her clothes while she was in the shower and forced her to return naked. And Street recalled doing the same thing to another person. Street admitted that he now recognizes how bad it was. He promised he would never do anything like that again or in the future, so Chris inquired as to whether he had ever apologized to the officer he had hazed. He hadn’t done so. Only that is something he intends to correct as quickly as possible. Aside from the hazing, the hack had everyone pushing themselves to their limits. They had to save an undercover detective who had had his cover compromised. When they discovered him, he was being tormented. They had to summon an ambulance while apprehending the men who had assaulted him. The team should not have had much time to do anything because it was so busy putting out fires caused by the cyberattack, but they managed to squeeze in a few minutes here and there.
Street made contact with the woman who he had hazed. He requested a meeting with her, and she consented. Chris chatted with Cabrera once again. Cabrera apologized for his earlier brusqueness. She didn’t want to appear frail. Which Chris was aware of. After being hazed, Chris kept her head down. She came in with high marks and then avoided other women in the department to give the impression that she was establishing a girl squad. Chris has subsequently realized that having girlfriends does not imply weakness. Even if it does, Chris doesn’t seem to mind because she’s met some wonderful men and women on the job, and she once mentored a newcomer to the program who has now become a valued friend. Chris informed Cabrera that she had regained her possessions. The same could be said for the rest of the team since none of them intended to let a fellow officer down, and they did so with the work as well. They managed to track down every single undercover spy in the field. They also managed to track down the hacker. In front of everyone, the hacker was kidnapped. He allegedly promised to sell information on where a gang could find the primary witness in the boss’s trial, but the gang kidnapped the hacker to aid them in their fight against the security team, and SWAT was able to prevent an undercover officer from being killed shortly before she testified. Street also tracked out the cop he had hazed in the past, and he had no choice but to go to her because she had left the force after years of sexual harassment. However, seeing her predicament convinced Street that he could no longer be one of the guys who sees something and does nothing about it. Deac has started ministering in a prison, where he met a man he had arrested but who claims to be innocent.
