In the new episode titled “Addicted,” we will see the crew is in a race against time to stop a gunman who is shooting at rehabilitation institutions and individuals whom he holds responsible for the death of his brother. The protagonists of S.W.A.T., and especially Sgt. David “Deacon” Kay (Jay Harrington), has had to overcome a number of professional and personal obstacles in season 6. In Season 6 of the popular procedural drama, Deacon has had to juggle the risks and obligations of being a member of the S.W.A.T. team with the challenges of his personal life, particularly the trauma his son Matthew confronts when their home was shot at. As seen in episode 11 of SWAT, the SWAT squad moves at the speed of light, their eyes scouring the entire city in a desperate search for the missing youngster who was taken from the homeless shelter. While they look into the kidnapping, Street is haunted by his history and has trouble remaining objective. Hondo and Nichelle’s tensions escalate as they struggle over their competing spiritual stances and their shared desire to know the truth. There has been a vehicle bombing that may be related to a terrorist group plotting an assault in Los Angeles, and the SWAT team has joined forces with the FBI to investigate. As the crew works feverishly to put together the clues and avert any additional harm, the streets are filled with the chaos and wreckage caused by the bombing. Meanwhile, a tragedy from Deacon’s history is disclosed, shedding light on where his strong faith came from. When he thinks back on the experiences that have molded him, the weight of those memories shows on his face. Luca and his brother Terry are at odds over a shocking development in the family’s history, and the situation is only getting tenser. As they dispute over how this new information would affect their families, the brothers’ faces are carved with wrath and frustration. The strain is great as the brothers work to find a solution to the problem they’ve created for themselves.
