S.W.A.T. Season 7 Episode 9 Recap
The newest episode of S.W.A.T. shows the rise of a new, dangerous robbery group called the Honeytraps. The Honeytraps are made up of only women who use their looks to trick men into their trap. The team gives their victims drugs and then robs them while they are out of it. Sadly, this has caused a number of deaths and injuries, which is why the FBI is involved as the crew passes state lines.
Agent Chad Hettinger of the FBI is in charge of the case, and Jackie Vasquez of LAPD SWAT is working under him. Unfortunately, Jackie’s first mistake of sending government resources to the wrong place gets her demoted. Jackie calls Hondo for help because time is running out. They have 48 hours to catch the Honeytraps before they leave the area.
As SWAT investigates, they learn that the group is made up of four women and a possible fifth person who works with technology. When they catch one of the women, Bella Lisboa, she gives them important information about how the crew works and their boss, Catalina Paulista, who is a skilled fighter who has experience with guerrilla warfare.
It turns out that the crew’s most recent target was a security test at a storage facility. They planned to sell the information they got from the test. Catalina killed Augie, the mastermind behind the plan, because of problems within the group. Chad getting in the way of Bella’s questioning ends up killing Augie and capturing him himself by Catalina.
Through a dramatic battle, SWAT is able to save Chad and catch the rest of the crew as they try to steal millions from a dark vault. Chad learns how important it is to trust and work as a team during this operation. Meanwhile, Hicks is having a hard time dealing with the news that the woman he cares for has ALS.
