Tehran Season 2 Episode 7: What to Expect
Milad is thrown into a packed detention cell in Episode 5 of Tehran Season 2. He’s in a lot of trouble right now, and only a miracle can save him. Mossad isn’t planning on breaking him out either, given their limited resources. Tamar believes Marjan when she tells her that she is going to break him out of the North Tehran police station. Tamar isn’t convinced, but she’s on a quest of her own, with a chance to poison Mohammadi via Peyman. There’s less trace with poison than with a booby-trapped phone, which calls into doubt Vahid’s entire scheme. Nahid is agitated as well, because Marjan hasn’t shown up for their therapy appointment due to an emergency.
Our Most Recent Videos Tamar, on the other hand, pretends to be shaken and worried when she calls Vahid. She mentions Milad being imprisoned, and he assures them that because he is connected with the police, he will be able to free him. He is, after all, the one who put him there in the first place. Milad’s old friend Shahin is also in the same cell, and he’s gone through quite the struggle. Milad maintains his composure as the cops interrogate him about why he was in Vahid’s compound. For his attempts, he is thrashed and finally brought back in with bleeding slashes over his face. Tamar arrives at the police station with Vahid when he is sitting with Shahin. When they pull up to the curb, he inquires about her relationship with Peyman and any future love entanglements. He convinces her to cancel the forthcoming date she had planned, so postponing the poisoning job and freeing Milad. Tamar and Vahid arrive at precisely the right time.
Police officers scan Milad’s identity through the system, demanding to know what he’s hiding. Vahid and Tamar are twiddling their thumbs at the station. Milad is eventually released, but Tamar discovers that Vahid was the one who had him jailed in the first place. With the side objective accomplished and Vahid no longer pursuing Tamar, our protagonist is free to continue on with the mission. She appears in front of Peyman and tells him everything, including how Vahid had Milad jailed. Meanwhile, Faraz approaches Vahid and seeks to utilise him for his own purposes. As the episode winds down, Faraz arrives at the tennis club only to be interrupted by a phone call from Marjan, who blows her own cover by insisting that he return home and meet Nahid. She wants the game to continue as usual, but this goes against Faraz’s values, especially when he discovers Tamar present.
