In The Blacklist, Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq) plays a pivotal role. Originally from South Sudan, Dembe is introduced as a former independence warrior. After being rescued from a life of human trafficking as a toddler, Raymond Reddington adopted him and raised him as his own. It turns out that his father, Samwel Zuma, was a farmer, and that he was the youngest of his sons. At the age of 14, Red (James Spader) discovered him half-dead and tied to a pipe in the cellar of a brothel in Nairobi Capital of Kenya after he had been a slave for eight years. Reddington tended to his needs, nurtured him to recover from illness, and made certain that he received an education while he was in his care. Dembe finally obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, became proficient in four languages, and studied six additional languages well enough to get by in each of them. In the most recent episode, Season 10, Episode 6’s “Dr. Laken Perillos, Pt. 2,” the most recent criminal from Blacklist’s past proved to be the greatest threat to Dembe, placing Red’s former right-hand man and current FBI agent’s life in jeopardy. What exactly took place, and more crucially, did he make it through the ordeal alive? Continue reading at (tvacute.com) to discover.
The Blacklist Season 10: Did Dembe Zuma Die?
Yes, Dembe Zuma is miraculously still alive and making a full recovery after a near-fatal second encounter with Dr. Laken Perillos (Laverne Cox). It has been stated that throughout the tenth and final season of The Blacklist, we will see the comeback of some of the series’ most notorious Blacklisters as they connect in on Wujing’s mission to kill “Red” Reddington and reveal his greatest secret, which is that he is working with the FBI to take down other criminals.
The Blacklist Season 10: Is Robert Vesco (Stacy Keach) Dead? Who Killed??
It began when Wujing got Perillos out of prison so that he could pay her to torture Dembe in an effort to obtain information about the Task Force from him. Perillos is the one who finally gets a hold of Dembe after his capture has been a complete success. Nonetheless, she is not only resolved to carry out Wujing’s orders but also to break Dembe because he is one of the only two persons, the other being Reddington, whom she has not been capable of disarming with her torture methods. She is determined to do both of these things. In Season 8, Dembe managed to break free from Perillos’s grasp and use her poison against herself in order to free Red and put her in jail. To summarize, it is safe to conclude that she harbors a deep-seated animosity.
Even when Dembe is put through so much suffering that he loses consciousness, Perillos does everything in her power to coerce him into giving up information; yet, he remains resistant. In the end, Perillos drives the FBI agent to his limit, and he goes into a cardiac attack as a result of the stress. However, this takes place just as the Task Force, together with the assistance of Robert Vesco, arrives at the area where Dembe is being held to rescue him. Perillos abandons him as he is going into cardiac arrest so that he might avoid being captured, and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Siya (Anya Banerjee) are compelled to transfer him to one of Red’s medical centers in order to save his life. In the end, he is able to regain consciousness, and when he does, he finds Red waiting for him by the side of his bed.
