The Boys Season 3 Episode 7; Who is Homelander’s father?

The point in the season where the plot and the stakes really start to take center stage has now arrived. There were plenty of surprises in Episode 7 titled “Here Comes a Candle to Light You to Bed,” but the jaw-dropper was saved until the very end, setting the stage for an intense conclusion. The third season of “The Boys” delivered its biggest revelation yet when it was revealed that Homelander (Antony Starr) was the son of Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles).

Is Soldier Boy Homelander’s father?

The Boys Season 3 Episode 7

What Homelander has truly desired for virtually the entire run of the series is unwavering love and a partner who accepts and values him for who he is. It’s possible that this will emotionally destroy him totally. His father exists. At the end of the episode, Soldier Boy calls Homelander and introduces himself as his father. He claimed to be unaware of it and to have no trouble passing the superhero baton to someone else if he had reared the boy. But as things stand, things are different. It goes without saying that the fact that Solider Boy also has a grandson adds another interesting dimension to the situation. Even if you wouldn’t necessarily use the word emotional to describe this program, the finale may suddenly be poised to be surprisingly so.

Additionally, this revelation provides an explanation for the supe’s parentage, which has been a topic of discussion since Season 2. Half of the outlandish hypothesis that Soldier Boy and Stormfront were Homelander’s parents that circulated earlier in the season has finally been proven to be true.  In the most recent episode, Soldier Boy kills Mindstorm, another member of his previous team. He’s aiming for Noir, who has a lot of screen time to reflect on his traumatic history while wearing an 80s supe.
