The Equalizer Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
On The Equalizer Season 2 Episode 4, a young man was beaten to a pulp in prison and mocked by other convicts. He sobbed at a photo of himself and two other men while he hung himself. Luis was in a coma, clinging to life. Carlos hired Robyn for the case. Luis had been in jail for 2 years awaiting trial for grand theft auto. Carlos claims Luis was with him and had an alibi. But the DA’s office never looked at the evidence. They obstructed him, arguing the People aren’t ready. Carlos expressed concern for Hector, Luis’ father. He didn’t show up for work and feared killing Grafton. Hector slammed her loudly. The squad raced to find Hector before he did anything dangerous. Robyn met Det. Robyn informed the DA of an anticipated threat. Just as Mallory and his gang of cops approached, Robyn ordered Dante to handcuff her so Mallory could catch the vigilante. Robyn warned Grafton while being interrogated, and she was used to threats. She sent Dante to Robyn instead of Mallory since he can get information from her. Robyn interrogated Det.
Mallory, emasculating him knowing his past. She wanted to call the squad. Mallory and Dante went to see A.D.A. Raymond Ellis. He assaulted the Assistant District Attorney in the face, so they had a history. While trying to resurrect Dante, Ellis obstinately refused to provide any assistance. Mel and Harry went to Hector’s house and found contrived proof indicating he was going to kill the DA while Robyn was a Jane Doe. Suddenly, a man entered the flat, and they fought with him. He fired a silencer gun but missed, escaping. That he planned to place Hector’s prints. They had to flee as Dante and Mallory approached. They escaped with a misfired gunshot from the mysterious man’s wall. Robyn wanted to talk again. She called Vi to cancel game night and tell Delilah the truth. The mysterious man had Hector bound. In jail, Kisha, a young lady, confronted Robyn, but she saw through her and reasoned with her. Surprisingly, Mel and Harry got Robyn in jail. She gave it to Dante to shoot. He linked the bullet to a gun owned by The Bridgetown Clique, led by Johnny O. Dante agreed to Robyn’s third call. She asked the crew to investigate Johnny, and they found the mystery shooter named Mitch Soraci.
Robyn told Dante she needed him to break her out of jail to save the DA! Dante drove Robyn to Johnny O’s. She interrogated him after killing his guys. She demanded to know where Hector was, and he dragged her out. Before leaving, he closed his phone. Johnny O contacted ADA Ellis and they overheard the whole thing. Johnny needs Ellis to keep the cops off his back because he’s paid him a fortune. “There’s a change of plans!” Ellis said Grafton as they drove to a meeting. The team followed Ellis’ phone to his destination. Ellis brought Grafton to Hector’s warehouse and tried to force him to kill the DA. His office had failed his son, but Hector refused to kill her. A shootout erupted as they tried to force him to do so. With Grafton as a shield, Dante defeated Soraci. Grafton suddenly elbowed him in the stomach, allowing Robyn to shoot Ellis. Dante was proud of cuffing the ADA. Robyn then surrendered to Dante, who handcuffed her. Grafton changed his mind about the vigilante and let her go (as the law wasn’t always just). Back at work, Mallory was promoted and moved away from Dante’s precinct. Mallory warned him not to work with Robyn before he left. When Kisha came out of jail, she got a message from Robyn with her number. When Hector went to see Luis and Grafton. She apologized and fought to have Luis’ charges dismissed, promising to look into similar incidents. When Robyn returned home, Delilah asked her to contact her if she was in danger again.
