Aunt Vid discovers Delilah’s secret in The Equalizer. She knows Mel taught her great-niece self-defense. Now, she could have gone running to Delilah’s mother to deliver her the news only she didn’t do that. She kept it from Robyn. She spoke to Delilah quietly. She warned the adolescent to come clean before she did. Vi didn’t want Delilah keeping secrets from her mother and so she talked to the girl and stressed that Robyn deserves the truth. Delilah replied she would tell her mum. She just wanted to wait. Robyn kept wondering. Robyn took another case. Bodyguards approached Robyn. Lucas guarded. Lucas was anxious about his client because he couldn’t find the individual posting threatening messages backstage. The client was Misty. Star singer. Tabloids lied and called her a diva. She was nice in person. She was kind. She encouraged music programmes. She contributed.
Lucas fired her remaining two extra bodyguards when they assaulted her fans. They later slandered her in the press. Only Misty needed protection. Her stalker was approaching. Lucas worried. He consulted the Equalizer. He simply asked that Misty not know they were protecting her. Robyn and her crew had to produce and film. They followed Misty on her final tour. Misty retired lately. She’s worked for nearly two decades. She wants to take time off to date and possibly establishes a family. Her stalker has reacted accordingly. Misty’s hotel bathroom was hidden. They assaulted her. She resisted. Unfortunately, they fled before Lucas could catch them. They eluded Harry. The guy came in by chloroforming a guard. They entered Misty’s hotel room using a janitor’s all-access key card. The janitor was absent. Another stalker was present.
Grayson Bradley was another stalker. Misty has a restraining order. He was the one that sent her the message “I coming for you” in blood. He said he only did that because Misty wouldn’t respond to his prior letters. Misty was supposedly the favorite artist of Bradley and his ex-girlfriend. He thought if she acknowledged him, he may get his ex-girlfriend back before she married. He was so delusional that he felt Misty would instinctively know the letters were from him in spite of not signing them or providing a return address on them. He wasn’t Misty’s bathroom attacker. That was another stalker. Another stalker wanted Misty dead. This other stalker also tried to assassinate Misty before her show. Misty likes tea. She has it every day. She has it before every show. She skipped it this time and gave her tea to Zara. Zara drank the tea. She then almost died from the tea. Poisoned. Someone who wanted Misty dead transformed Robyn and her crew. Who would benefit if Misty died? Manager. Debt plagued the manager. Misty also declined to sign a new contract with him. She desired retirement. The manager opposed it and recently employed a questionable online hire.
Detective Dante interviewed manager Martin. Martin admitted he hired him to handle someone. Not Misty. Martin didn’t write Misty’s career-making tune. Since he paid $500 for the music, he’ll get royalties. The true writer died after he cut off royalties. Her kid nonetheless desired justice for his mom. He began sending threatening notes to Martin. After failing, he attacked Misty. Hatred drove him to become Misty’s guitarist without her knowledge. Robyn revealed it. Robyn roughed up a fan that got too close to Misty. Misty dismissed Robyn and Lucas after discovering her identity. They discovered her attacker. They warned her, but by the time they found her, she was with the guy who wants her dead. His name is Elton Smith. His mother overdosed after he tried to collect money legally. After a song made another woman famous, his mother succumbed to drugs. Elton felt bitter and wanted Misty dead for what happened to his mother. Misty never found out. Robyn stopped Elton from killing her. Two women calmed him. They said his mother didn’t want this for him. Misty and Robyn stopped Elton from killing himself. They saved him and arrested him. Misty’s last concert credited the writer. Delilah’s secret is out. Self-defense fractured her classmate’s arm. It was also recorded. Robyn saw the video and understood Mel was secretly training her daughter. And so Robyn put a stop to that. Mel didn’t ask Robyn for help with her brother because they were estranged.
