The Flash Season 9 Episode 1 Recap
The Flash Season 9 New Villain – Red Death
The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace told TVLine, “You’ll find out in a couple of episodes.” “There’s a reason why this speedster has shown up here. I’m trying to say this without spoilers, but it’s pretty heavy-duty.” When asked if they would be using Bruce Wayne or anyone else from the DC Comics Metal or Dark Metal continuity, Wallace makes it clear that they would not be. Instead, “We’re using kind of a completely different character, and our Red Death will have their own new origin.”
Once this Red Death’s objective and motivation are exposed, Wallace argues, it will explain why Javicia Leslie, who played the Arrowverse’s second Batwoman, Ryan Wilder, was cast in the role. EP reveals this is not a season about Barry or Iris. it’s a season about both of them. The other big mystery that the season finale introduced. The question, “What role(s) does Danielle Panabaker (who was formerly on the show) currently play?” The episode entitled “Hear No Evil” will deal with this issue. “It is not Frost, and it is not Caitlin,” Wallace repeats to a bewildered Barry, reiterating the character’s earlier declaration. “She’s not lying. However, her appearance at this time is not a coincidence. Heroes rise up when the universe needs them to appear, so there’s a reason why Danielle [Panabaker] is coming out of that crystal coffin right now. Because as we’re going to find as we get closer and closer to the series finale, her character is very wrapped up in the season finale. She’s the right hero for the absolute right time.”
