The Goldbergs Season10 Episode 22 Recap
In the climactic episode, Adam joined his mother, Beverly, at her high school reunion, where she reconnected with George, an ex-boyfriend she had previously been seeing. Adam was troubled by the fact that his mother was moving on from his father, and he did all in his power to prevent Bev and George from rekindling their romance in order to prevent his mother from falling in love with the wrong man. But Adam eventually came back and asked George to baby Muriel’s first birthday party after having an emotional conversation with his mother.

Barry and Joanne fled to show to all that they’re a serious couple, and Adam and his fiancée Carmen left in his uncle’s DeLorean (maybe a good omen for their future together). The episode wasn’t meant to be the series finale, so if it felt like it closed certain loose ends while leaving others open, that’s because it did.
