The Good Doctor Season 5 Season 8 Recap
After the baby’s death, Salen announces a thorough examination of the pharmacy inventory policy and assures the doctors that they may get whatever they need (counseling, paid time off). They need to communicate with Alma’s mother with tact and professionalism. Glassman senses Lim’s want to react and attempts to persuade her to take a day off or let Salen take the initiative. After all, she is still the owner of the hospital, and if Lim confronts her in a fit of wrath, she will suffer the repercussions. Salen, meantime, calls Alma first, offering condolences, an explanation for what happened (the pharmacist quit over the mistake, she claims), full reimbursement for all medical expenditures, and an immediate $200,000 payout for her pain and suffering. The pharmacist thinks Salen should be fired because he warned her and saved the proof. Because she has many lawyers on retainer, he has little choice except to accept his severance and sign an NDA. As Lim discovers, Salen doesn’t yet control the hospital; purchases take time, and serving the community’s interests may delay the process. Lim convinces the pharmacist to come forward.. But Glassman doubts the AG will intervene. And he’s right. First, the pharmacist takes a step back. The AG then pays attention to Lim but finally decides not to act. When Lim returns to the hospital with the awful news, Salen says she was well aware of her actions. But now she’s gone behind Salen’s back and tried to destroy all she’s worked so hard for. She won’t forget it.
When Lea tries to talk to Shaun about not wanting to marry her, he only repeats his position. That she lied about her trip to Montana, that she lied about his performance rating, and that she refused to change his scores or tell Salen. Lea then tries to talk to Shaun through Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff), but he is unsuccessful. he tries to explain why Lea loves him. After seeing Dr. Alex Park (Will Yun Lee) lie to a patient, Shaun wonders if Glassman was lying to him. His classmate who copied his test said he was cute, but her friend said she teased him behind his back. That doesn’t help, says Glassman. Finally, Park advises their patient to adjust his own perspective about himself.
The Good Doctor Season 5 Season 8 Ending
As he walks out of the hospital, Shaun raises his eyes to his photo on the wall. Shaun returns home and tells Lea that he won’t cancel their wedding. since they love each other and are good for each other. He forgives her for altering his grades because he understands that she was only trying to assist him. He inquires as to whether she believes he is unsuitable for her. She once told him that due to his ASD, she couldn’t be in a relationship with him. She claims that was before, that she has matured, and that all she wanted to do was be there for him. She doesn’t need his forgiveness; she’s finished apologizing for attempting to assist him. She claims that he is telling her that she isn’t good enough for him, so they shouldn’t marry and She walks away. Lea was spotted crying in her car as the show came to an unnerving conclusion, while a teary-eyed Shaun was laying on their couch, reminiscing on his horrible, no good, very bad day.
