The Good Doctor season 6 episode 11 Recap
The two friends, Shaun and Lea, were taking a break from their vacation. In order to rest, they pulled over. While they were out taking a stroll, they saw a car hit and kill a dog. Painfully, the dog hobbled away. Lea was embarrassed by it. After the dog, she made her way toward it. It was a path that Shaun eventually adhered to. After a short search, they located the dog in the woods, where Shaun then performed a minor procedure to alleviate the animal’s discomfort. He decided to pick up the dog and took him with him to the vehicle. Shaun squeezed in an unscheduled visit to the vet. As they drove to the vet, a patient with horrific injuries arrived at the hospital. Pieces of shrapnel stuck him in the body and caused serious injuries. Careful disassembly was required for every component. The two surgeons on the case were named Marcus and Alex. Before the patient’s life was lost to bleeding out, they had to clear away each piece stabbing him. Morgan had dropped by to supervise and irritate them. When she finally left, everyone was relieved to see her go.
Asher also observed that Danica had shown up to work on a day off. After working all night, she went to bed. While she should have been resting at home, she instead came in under the pretense that she needed to conduct a simulation on the topic of wound packaging. He watched as she took several bandages and did not inquire about them. He didn’t understand the gravity of the situation until she called and asked for his assistance. Dani knows someone currently out on parole. He attended an inappropriate social event. As a result, he was shot. He was in violation of his parole by getting drunk with his ex-con friends, so instead of going to the hospital, he begged Dani to help him.
When Dani realized he was hurt, he attempted first aid. Asher was consulted because she was unsure whether or not she should remove the bullet, and he advised leaving it in place. It was surgically impossible to remove because of its proximity to a major artery. After that, however, Dani’s friend started to feel even worse. The infection was being spread by the bullet. Dani was concerned that he might lose the entire leg to sepsis if nothing was done, so she offered to host the surgery. Every surface was sanitized by her. She contacted Asher for assistance performing the operation. She was about to make her 1st cut when the doorbell rang.
