Nick Offerman as Bill

Frank, played by Murray Bartlett, is a survivalist who lives in a small town with his partner Bill. Even though Bartlett hadn’t read the book, he was interested in the play after reading the script. After being offered the part, he did some study and concluded that the game had cinematic qualities due to its characters, story, and themes. Frank makes a cameo appearance in the first game as a dead character, although he doesn’t say anything. Because of this departure from the game’s story, Druckmann anticipated that some players would be dissatisfied with Frank’s appearance on the show.

NickOfferman’s biggest role to date is Tom Haverford on the American comedy series Parks and Recreation, but he’s also a prolific voice actor. Apart from Fargo, he has also appeared in We Are the Millers and The Founder. In addition to The Resort and Devs, he has also been seen in Pam and Tommy. Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, Part 2 and Candy Cane Lane are two forthcoming films he will star in.

Murray Bartlet as Frank

Bill, a survivalist played by Nick Offerman, is Frank’s roommate. Con O’Neill was originally cast, but he had to pull out because of scheduling difficulties. The performances of Bryan Cranston and Bob Odenkirk in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul encouraged Mazin to choose a comedic actor like Offerman because “funny people have souls.” W. Earl Brown portrays Bill in the pilot episode.

Murray Bartlett has made guest appearances on a wide variety of film and TV productions, including the comedy-drama Looking on HBO. He has also been featured in shows including Netflix’s Marvel series Iron First and the critically acclaimed LGBT+ series Tales of the City. Bartlett has recently been seen playing the antagonist Nick De Noia on the Disney Plus series Welcome to the Chippendales.
