“Welcome To Jury Duty” is the title of the tenth episode of Season 4 of The Neighborhood. Calvin (Cedric the Entertainer) and Dave (Max Greenfield) will be picked to serve as jurors in the same trial in the following episode. there will almost certainly be at least one angry juror during deliberations. In the meantime, Malcolm and Marty planned to rent their home for film production. When the filming begins, though, things will become more complicated. Because they did not confirm the plot of the film prior to hiring their space.

The Neighborhood Season 4 Episode 9 Recap
Episode 9 begins with Dave taking Calvin to Haberdashery LA, an upscale clothing boutique. Calvin inquires as to why they are present. Dave mentions that he needs some shirts for work, and Haberdashery LA is the place to go. The store manager notices these two and begins to tour them around various goods. The manager displays Calvin a nice jacket while luring them in with bourbon. Calvin likes the jacket a lot, and Dave agrees, recommending that they both buy it. Calvin is interested, but once he learns the price – $800 — he abandons the notion. However, the manager and Dave eventually persuade Calvin to purchase it. Calvin does, and he proudly displays it to Gemma and Tina back at the Johnsons’ home. They also like the jacket.
Gemma is ecstatic to tell Josh and Daisy about their new parent’s friends. Gemma claims that they are in desperate need of some parent buddies to help them with all of the responsibilities of parenting. Josh and Daisy arrive the next day, and everything seems to be going swimmingly until they meet Thatcher, their crazy and rambunctious daughter. Her parents are unconcerned about her being rowdy and disrespectful. Josh and Daisy don’t confront Thatcher at all, justifying their disrespectful and troublesome behavior with their pretentious and obnoxious parenting knowledge. This does not go over well with the Johnsons. When the Johnsons pay a visit to Josh and Daisy, Thatcher continues to cause havoc and treat them badly. Gemma expresses her fears, but Dave is blinded by his excitement at his joint wine tasting with Josh. That changes, though, when they notice Grover mimicking Thatcher’s behavior. Thatcher began firing fruit punch through her water gun during their next visit. Calvin’s new and priceless jacket is now at risk of being ruined. Thatcher does what is predicted and fires the fruit punch pistol towards Calvin, but Tina leaps in front of him and saves Calvin’s jacket. Calvin and Tina flee, while Gemma confronts Josh and Daisy at the end. Dave eventually joins her, despite his reservations at first, and the two of them sever their association with Josh and Daisy, showing the dreadful parents and their out-of-control daughter the door.
Calvin’s new jacket, which he splurged on, is the main emphasis of the episode. However, he quickly adopts an overprotective and preservationist attitude toward it, refusing to wear it outside. Tina confronts him about it and tells him he’s being overprotective and paranoid. Calvin agrees and puts on his jacket, but the storm changes his mind as soon as they open the door. Later, they pay a visit to Dave and Gemma and run into Thatcher, who is a crazy demon. Calvin is even more hesitant to wear his jacket outside as a result of this. Tina confronts Calvin once more, telling him that he’s acting like her late mother, who, like Calvin, didn’t get to enjoy certain things due to her over-protective attitude. Calvin notices this as well, and he begins to wear the jacket without hesitation. Dave surprises Calvin with the identical jacket he bought for himself at the end of the episode.
