The season finale of The Neighborhood Season 6 is here, and it’s promising to be a memorable one with the guest appearance of R&B legend Toni Braxton. Toni Braxton, is known for her singing hits like “Un-Break My Heart” and “Breathe Again.”
The episode, called ” Welcome to the World” will air on May 6th, written by Bill Martin & Mike Schiff and directed by Victor Gonzalez. “Welcome to the World” – The whole crew heads out to see Toni Braxton live in concert, but just as the show begins, Courtney’s water breaks, on the sixth season finale of THE NEIGHBORHOOD, Monday, May 6 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
Marty (played by Marcel Spears) has been dealing with the shocking news that he’s going to be a dad all through Season 6. Marty was shocked to hear this because he hadn’t planned on having a child so soon. The plot was based on real events; Spears had just found out that his girlfriend was having their first child together.
The unexpected pregnancy storyline has provided Marty with a new set of challenges. While planning to become a dad with Courtney (Skye Townsend), who is not his girlfriend but a longtime friend. When Marty and Courtney are together, they don’t act like a typical pair in love. Instead, they work together to figure out how to raise a child.
As Courtney gives birth during the concert, the season finale looks like it will be an emotional and exciting show. The episode, “Welcome to the World,” will surely be a touching end to Marty and Courtney’s unexpected road to becoming parents.
At the same time, Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney), Marty’s bigger brother, is also growing as a person. Malcolm starts to think again about his personal life and whether he is ready for a serious relationship as he thinks about his successes as a hitting coach for USC’s baseball team. Malcolm wants to find the right person to settle down with, and this season follows his journey to do that. Toni Braxton
Toni Braxton is an American singer, songwriter, pianist, actor, TV host, and record producer. Her first album, which was just her name, made her famous in the early 1990s. It had the hit songs “Another Sad Love Song” and “Breathe Again.” Braxton became a big star in the music business very quickly thanks to her unique contralto voice, smooth R&B sound, and emotional songs.
Braxton has had a lot of success with her albums and songs over the years. “Un-Break My Heart,” from her second album “Secrets,” won a Grammy Award. Among her many awards are Best New Artist in 1994 and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for “You’re Makin’ Me High” in 1997.
