The Outpost Season 4 Episode 7 Recap
We make a beeline towards Talon (Jessica Green). She and Luna (Maeve Courtier-Lilly) are on the lookout for the key that could bring catastrophe to the land. Luna recalls it from her past and believes it is still in the same location. Luna has always held herself responsible for her family’s tragedy. Fortunately, Talon is on hand to correct her. Naya’s efforts were eventually intended to safeguard her family. Talon recognizes this, and it aids her in realizing that Naya is a nice person. As they both realize that the key isn’t exactly where they left it, Talon and Luna, thanks to their combined memories of the past, don’t see this as a setback, but rather as a detour that will take them to the correct land. Their unwavering belief in the right and good leads them to Naya, an old friend. Talon and Luna talk about their previous encounters with Naya while on their search for her. Naya deceived, cheated, and betrayed the Outpost’s people and queen. Luna can see that Naya was just as much a victim of Dred as her family via her narrative of all that occurred to her. They’ve been cornered by the gods and are now outmanned. Hopefully, they’ll be able to apply what they’ve learned to getaway.
Janzo (Anand Desai-Barochia) also connects with the creature known as 313 through a blind trust. Outsider communication is something Janzo is well-versed in. Garret (Jake Stormoen) and Zed believe that intimidation will be the most effective way to persuade him to speak. Janzo can only image how hungry 313 must be after sleeping for decades, so he feeds the entity appropriately in good faith.Janzo exploits 313’s connection to his brethren as a stepping stone toward compromise after the initial breakthrough. Garret and Zed’s strategies didn’t work. Janzo finds a new acquaintance. Two had been murdered by the gods for Falista (Georgia May-Foote) kinj. She ignores her friends’ cautions and pays the price for her misplaced confidence.
