What is the premise of ‘The Perfect Pairing’?
Influential and anonymous food and wine critic Christina slips on ice and falls while visiting a winery — and no one knows who she is. Single father Michael and his family take her in to help her jog her memory.- Hallmark
Christina unintentionally finds herself visiting a winery she blasted in an earlier review in The Perfect Pairing. She attempts to flee as quickly as possible before anyone figures out who she is. However, while attempting to flee, she stumbles on some ice and hurts her head, resulting in amnesia.
Christina is taken in by Hollingbrooks while she recovers from her accident and tries to reclaim her memories. She helps the family prepare for their annual wine tapping feast in exchange. She also helps Michael with ice wine, which is a high-risk passion project for him.

Despite the fact that the Hollingbrook Winery is a work of fiction, lovers of The Perfect Pairing can enjoy a wine inspired by the film.
“The Perfect Pairing” is a sweet dessert wine that joins a cabernet sauvignon (Jingle), sauvignon blanc (Joy), and rosé in Hallmark Channel’s wine portfolio (Blush). It’s a late-harvest sauvignon blanc created from grapes that are virtually frozen. According to Hallmark Channel, the wine has a “rich golden colour and tropical fruit aromas are complemented by sweet undertones.” HallmarkChannelWines.com sells it for $19 per bottle.
