Nic Nevin is back in The Resident Season 5 Finale Episode

Emily VanCamp will reprise her role as nurse practitioner Nic Nevin in the May 17 episode, according to TV Insider. She’ll appear in new flashback scenes that will detail her husband, Dr. Conrad Hawkins’s (Matt Czuchry)struggle, to move on after losing her. A man overdoses in the emergency room. Conrad notices the man’s medicine container. Despite the fact that he was never one of Conrad’s patients, it claims that Conrad authored the prescription. Conrad is once again enraged by the deception and goes to the pharmacy where people are receiving them. He tells Phoebe, the woman at the front desk, that he isn’t prescribing them and that he wants to know what’s going on. She had no idea he wasn’t the doctor who had prescribed them. He makes an appeal to her, so she walks to the back to hunt up some information, but she is apprehended and detained. Conrad receives a phone call from Cade regarding the Go Team and departs. Cade wants to put her on ECMO, but Conrad is apprehensive about the risks. Cade does it because her daughter wants it done.
When the woman is brought in, she has difficulties, and AJ and Devon are irritated because the Go team didn’t follow protocol in the field, and now they have to perform a miracle to rescue her. When Kit and Bell are working on the driver, the new, fiery, and slightly gothic nocturnal anestiosiolist makes her debut. Devon and Zach must tell the shop owner’s family that she is in grave danger. In the meantime, the street racer’s parents arrive. When Mr. Zhou confronts the Camachos, they must divide them into separate waiting rooms.
