This is the recap of The Rookie Season 2 Episode 2 entitled ‘The Night General” which was aired previous Sunday , oct 6 at ABC.
Rookie Officer John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) tells new night Detective Nick Armstrong (guest star Harold Perrineau) about how he dated Grace, the doctor they ran into earlier that day, in college. He explains that they were just hitting it off when his now-ex-wife turned up pregnant with his child, forcing him to end his relationship with Grace.
John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) goes back to the hospital to tell Grace (guest star Ali Larter) that he’s sorry for breaking up with her by just leaving a note, but that he wouldn’t have been able to go through with it if he saw her face-to-face.
