The Rookie Season 4 Episode 16 Recap
Officer Thorsen is determined to change people’s perceptions of him, according to Nolan, who is being interviewed for the reality show. Then it’s Harper’s turn; she claims that the reality show was his mother’s idea, a method to rebrand him. “Every Rose Has A Thorsen” is the name of the reality show. The next two people to be interviewed are Angela and Wesley. Thorsen’s pals pay him a visit. Morris is discovered dead, and the crew arrives at the crime site to investigate. Thorsen is also a suspect. Harper had his suspicions. Patrick’s paternal grandfather Dexter could have been the perpetrator. Thorsen’s father, according to Dexter, is also a serial killer.
Lincoln, Thorsen’s father, was a suspect in a murder when he was a popular rap singer in his earlier years. They believe Yvonne is having an affair with Morris and that Lincoln is responsible for his death, but they later learn that the affair was fabricated for the show. To the cameramen, Lucy and Tim discuss the situation. They also find out that Morris enraged QAnon, conspiracy theorists, by releasing a document about them. They also dig into Aaron’s pals, and they get a lead that Aaron’s mother is a suspect because she lied about being in Paris at the time. Angela discovers that the assailant is Rowan, Patrick, and Thorsen’s friend. When Rowan realized he was the one who killed Patrick, he killed Morris.
Aaron’s father apologizes to Patrick’s father for thinking he was guilty. Patrick’s father approaches Thorsen outside the station, apologizing for not believing him and pleading for forgiveness. Yes, says Thorsen. Grey feels relieved that the truth has been revealed, proving Thorsen’s innocence beyond a shadow of a doubt. Thorsen will never find closure, according to Nolan; he’ll just have to focus on the pleasant memories. According to Thorsen, it’s still seeping in, and the reality program isn’t moving forward because it was a mistake from the start. He intends to live solely for himself and Patrick.
