The stakes are bigger than ever as “The Rookie“ nears its end of the season. Episode 9 is the first part of the two-part season finale. It will have a lot of action and some surprising events. Tensions rise, relationships are put to the test, and the stage is set for a dramatic end to the season.
The upcoming episode called “The Squeeze” picks up after, where the last one left off, where Monica Stevens was in a dangerous situation and Dr. Blair London’s real intentions were called into question. There are signs that they might get back together, and Tim might do something big that would change their relationship for good.
In an exciting promo, Tim talks to someone about a serious charge that may have something to do with recent events. He asks John for help, which shows that things are more complicated than they seem. At the same time, Lucy played by Melissa O’Neil stands firm, showing she’s determined to do things her own way. Fans are guessing that Tim might ask Lucy to marry him, especially after they share a sweet hug. The writers have all hinted that the couple will have a big moment in the finale, which has made fans very excited.
The promo also hints that Dr. Blair London will be back, which makes people wonder what role she played in recent events. Does she have her plans or is she working with Monica?

The Rookie Season 6 Episode 8 Recap
The episode kicks off with, someone breaking into Monica Stevens’ house while she is talking on the phone with Wesley. As soon as she gets ready to fight the stranger, she finds out that someone is trying to kill her. Even so, Monica chooses not to call the cops because she feels safer dealing with the threat herself. She shoots her attacker in both feet to get him to talk, but he acts like he can’t speak and stays quiet.
At the same time, Officer Nolan takes his wife Bailey to a fertility visit because they are trying to get pregnant. Two rival gangs are brought to the hospital after a fight, which makes things chaotic and crowded. Monica went to the hospital because she said she was dizzy, and while she’s there, she stays close to her attacker to be questioned more. As things get worse, there is a gang war in the hospital, which causes violence and puts everyone inside in danger. In an effort to keep things calm, Nolan steps in when a woman fires a gun, which causes him to suffer acoustic damage.
Sergeant Bradford’s old unit is attacked in the middle of all the chaos, and he quickly runs to check on his old friends. A figure who shows up again and again, Dr. London, goes to the hospital to help the people who were hurt in the ambush.
The episode gets more exciting when Monica kills her attacker and Dr. London sees it. It turns out that Dr. London is working for the bad guys. Monica is suspected, but there is no proof that she has anything to do with the death, so the police have to ignore her for now. In a separate story, Officer Chen spends her birthday alone at home with her new roommate, while Bradford learns that his former coworker, who betrayed their unit, has killed himself, leaving open questions about who the mole was.
