Another The Simpson’s prediction comes true.
It comes only weeks after another Simpsons prediction seemed to come true — this time from The Simpsons Movie, the show’s 2007 big-screen adaptation. This time, fans of the long-running animated sitcom allege that an episode from 1998 foretold the present situation between Russia and Ukraine.

A scene from the episode “Simpson Tide” depicts a UN meeting between Russia and the US that quickly devolves into Russia announcing the return of the Soviet Union, complete with hidden tanks, barbed-wired walls. Although not an exact match for Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine, it’s close enough for some fans to dismiss it as yet another Simpsons prophecy. There are dozens more examples of The Simpsons foreseeing the future. The longest-running American sitcom has also predicted events such as Donald Trump’s election, the Disney-Fox merger, Super Bowl winners, and even Tom Hanks’ support for the US government. and Disney purchasing 20th Century Fox.

The Simpsons Season 33 Episode 11 Recap
“The Longest Marge” is full of satire, poor sportsmanship, and sneaky practice sessions, but Monty Burns, who is normally dependable and similarly cost-effective, is shaving points. The episode starts off with a hopeful but uncertain tone. Sector 7G is devoid of life. The entire nuclear power station appears to be abandoned. Grayson, their prize, appears to be the start of a successful football dynasty. Football is featured in this episode. The joke about all of the opposing players departing their teams to join the Canadian Football League is amusing, but it’s also heartbreaking when you consider that they’re giving up fair catches. In the episode, Adam Schefter plays himself. Warburton Parker is played by John Mulaney. Both contribute to Grayson’s frantic enthusiasm of sports enthusiast authenticity, which he discards in favor of gentle body soap. The finest game commentary is when Grayson tells Marge his own twisted storyline, which is possibly funnier than the game itself. Grayson is completely off the farm when he comes to play for Springfield. The responses of the crowd to the rookie star player are well-played. The Springfield Nuclear Plant workers celebrate their victory with a celebration riot that makes Philadelphia football supporters look like croquet players. Grayson, the player, makes an immediate impression.
The downward arc of the bad boy football star who only drinks brandy, even letting cockroaches go in Springfield Elementary School, and the strain of letting down an entire community makes for the kind of twisted redemption story worthy of a Lurleen Lumpkin, is effective. She has a chance to shine now. She is the most representative mother in the United States. Even though she is very supportive of Homer, she is very good at stopping Grayson from doing bad things. She gets an apology from him right away after she starts getting involved in his life. There is a high point in the episode when Mr. Burn’s friend is ruined. A victory lap in the end zone doesn’t work out for “The Longest Marge.” It’s too secure a game for that. Every level works, but not hard enough. There are a lot of great individual gags, exchanges, and visual bad jokes in this story. At one point, Grayson gives up everything for his future wife, Kaitlin, who is the head of a faith-based yogurt yoga chain that you can eat while doing yoga.
