The eighth episode of The Traitors started up right where the seventh episode left off, with the remaining players very tense. After getting rid of Dan in the previous round, the Faithfuls were feeling great, but their win didn’t last long. Alan Cumming, the host, threw a surprise by telling seven players they were safe, leaving only a few open to being killed.
Many of the players were weak, including Trishelle, Bergie, MJ, and Kate. In the end, the Traitors killed Bergie. Bergie was chosen as a target because he was thought to be close to Peter, who was also being watched.
At the same time, people kept getting suspicious of Parvati, and Trishelle was leading the charge to get her sent away. Trishelle’s attempts to sway the other players worked, and Parvati was voted off, becoming the second Traitor to be kicked off.
In the episode, there was also a task led by Dr. Will Kirby. The players had to find their way through an escape room and win $20,000. Some players did well under pressure and players who did not. In the end, Phaedra, Shereé, MJ, and Kate quit the challenge and lost $4,000.
