The part two episodes of season 11 of The Walking Dead have quite distinct tones. The first was action-packed and resolved some major cliffhangers, while the second was set in the Commonwealth as many Alexandrians acclimatize to this society. Although the Reaper’s fight is done, Leah has surely not been forgotten by spectators. She will return at some point, although it is unclear when or where she will do so. There was a brief glimpse of her in a teaser video who wasn’t costumed as the Reaper. The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 10 Recap
the episode began, they received a taste of the Commonwealth’s extravagant Halloween celebrations. Daryl, who was in basic training to become a trooper with Rosita, was understandably wary of the fantasy that was unfolding in front of them. Connie had gotten the governor’s uncle tossed out of Congress and was enjoying being a reporter again — however she disclosed to Daryl and Carol through Kelly that she’d interviewed Pamela before the apocalypse. Since Lil’ Ass-Kicker wasn’t on an allowance yet, Judith became fast friends with a sweet girl named Mae, who purchased her a Motörhead album. And Ezekiel seemed to be on his way out, lying to Carol about how well he was doing and handing off prized possessions like Shiva’s leash. Meanwhile, Mercer took Daryl, Rosita, and a group of would-be troopers through a Kill House exercise in which they were intended to demonstrate their speed and collaboration.
There were a few hiccups, like Daryl’s partner coming dangerously near to getting bitten by a walker, forcing Mercer to intercede. After that, Mercer told Daryl that he shouldn’t have stepped in, at least not by shooting the walker with an arrow. The Commonwealth, the soldier said, could be Daryl’s nirvana if he could just get out of his own way. And he was spurred on by the fact that both Judith and RJ expressed a wish to remain in the Commonwealth. The class divides between the Commonwealth’s haves and have-nots were painfully obvious that evening at Pamela’s masquerade party. While Magna was demoted to kitchen staff, lawyer Yumiko and reluctant doctor Tomi sipped Carol’s fine wine, and Sebastian, Lance, and Mercer were greeted like superheroes at the door. He yelled BS while Pamela delivered a speech on how great the Commonwealth was, claiming that it did not care about all of its residents. Tyler eventually abandoned his human shield and fled, only to be arrested by Daryl… who shrewdly assigned the “catch” to Sebastian in order to prevent Jerkface from “hate-smiling” at him. Tyler was led away as swiftly as he was marched back through the party in handcuffs, upsetting Pamela by saying that there were many more like him.
