The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 11 Recap
Carol went Lance to an unofficial Commonwealth outpost to negotiate with Moto, a shady character whose workers routinely transformed a field of poppies into opium for the hospital. Moto, on the other hand, insisted that his employees needed a raise or the produce would spoil. But, thanks to Carol’s intervention, he didn’t even have to keep their arrangement. She stated before they left that she’d discovered from a worker that Moto was pocketing the last raised money and feeding his employees to keep their mouths shut. Lance solved the problem by apprehending the robber baron. In another narrative, Connie was desperate to learn more about Trooper Davis and tell him his story. But Jan’s story was essentially a paraphrasing of Pamela’s press release, which claimed Tyler was suffering from PTSD when he kidnapped Max and screamed charges at the governor.
To make matters worse, Jan sent Connie and Kelly to accompany Mercer on a ride-along – they were meant to write a fluff piece on the military! Instead, Connie, being Connie, pressed Mercer on why she hadn’t been allowed to see Tyler even a month after he was hospitalized under military custody. Mercer, who had given up nothing, wondered aloud why Connie was asking questions that would never be answered. Following Mercer’s discovery that Tyler had been moved without his permission, a supposedly important list of names was slid under Connie and Kelly’s door. Tyler is the last name on the list. Finally, Eugene awoke in bed less astonished to discover Stephanie there than to find her reading the sci-fi novel. He handed her a key to his apartment after she gave him a two-thumbs-up rating and used the L-word on her. She returned the compliment after a brief delay but she didn’t show up for their ice cream date. And when he went to her apartment to find her, she didn’t answer the door and continued to pack quickly. Hmm. Eugene afterward played a drunken Jessica Fletcher himself, as the Commonwealth Army rapidly abandoned its search for the mysteriously vanished person. He even had a lead: a plumber named Roman Calhoun, who he’d observed leaving Stephanie’s building on the day she went, allegedly requesting to be transferred. There were shady goings-on at Ruby’s Plumbing Co., which led him to assume Stephanie had gotten herself into trouble in the Commonwealth administration. Princess accompanied Eugene as he scouted out Roman’s flat and broke in while the man went for a jog, despite her aversion to getting into trouble. They were busted and thrown in jail after discovering what appeared to be an abduction kit, at which point Lance validated Roman’s tale. Princess tried to persuade Eugene.
But he wasn’t going to be deterred. He broke into Ruby’s Plumbing only to be booted out by… Stephanie! Ack! And the unknown individual who the “plumbers” met on a regular basis was… Lance! Gads! He’d enlisted Stephanie’s help in persuading Eugene to tell him all about his family’s communities! Eugene, on the other hand, was going to make certain that everyone knew who Lance was. The politician was perplexed. By the way, Stephanie’s real name is Shira, and she despises Iron Maiden.” Eugene was burning his Missing Person posters and his manuscript as the show came to a close when Stephanie emerged behind him. She even called him on their old radio numbers. And when we finally got a good look at her, it wasn’t the “Stephanie” we’d been expecting, but Max, as we’d assumed all along.
