Will Rick Grimes [Andrew Lincoln] appear in the TWD Series Finale?
When will the finale episode of The Walking Dead [S11xE24] be released?
The Reapers
Alexandria’s clashes with “The Reapers,” a gang of post-apocalyptic paramilitary sorts, take up the first part of The Walking Dead season 11. Maggie (Lauren Cohan) devises a plan to loot Meridian, a location she stayed after departing with Georgie’s crew and which was subsequently taken over by The Reapers after crops fail at Alexandria and our heroes experience some food crisis. All eight of the episodes are involved in the struggle, which includes the revelation that Lynn Collins’ Leah Shaw, Daryl’s ex-girlfriend, is a Reaper. After killing Pope for not caring enough about his people, she becomes the authority. In the end, Maggie, Daryl, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), and the others defeat the Reapers.
Group Eugene at The Commonwealth
Eugene’s group, which consists of Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Ezekiel (Khary Payton), Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura), and Princess (Paola Lázaro), endures a drawn-out admission procedure at the Commonwealth while the rest of Alexandria/Hilltop/Oceanside/Kingdom struggles with The Reapers. Due to the size of the Commonwealth, there are several administrative hoops to jump through in order to become a resident. In the end, Eugene and his crew are permitted entry to the safe haven located within the Commonwealth’s boundaries. As a result of her pre-apocalyptic legal experiences, Yumiko is given a position as a lawyer, while the other members of the gang are assigned more menial responsibilities. When Eugene strikes Sebastian, the pampered son of Governor Pamela Milton (Laila Robins), he gets into some problems (Teo Rapp-Olsson).
Alexandria Meets the Commonwealth
The Commonwealth initially contacts Alexandria at the conclusion of episode 9 (the season 11 part 2 opener), having learned of its location via Eugene. Then, in a six-month flashback, we learn that Maggie is still in command of Hilltop and is fighting assimilation, while Daryl is a soldier wearing the white “clamshell” armour of The Commonwealth. The Commonwealth’s Alexandrian population seemed to be doing well, save from Maggie’s political differences. The healthcare is good and there is enough of ice cream, but there is a huge waiting list that many people from the working class can’t manage to get off. Eugene learns that the lady he mistakenly identified as Stephanie was actually Max Mercer (Margot Bingham), the sister of super soldier Michael Mercer (Michael James Shaw).
The Rotten Core
Things in The Commonwealth aren’t what they appear, as if the healthcare catastrophe wasn’t enough of a clue. Sure, there is the typical degree of governmental corruption one could anticipate from a significant geopolitical power, but things are truly horrible at the very bottom of society. Lance Hornsby, the assistant to Governor Milton (Josh Hamilton), is operating a variety of self-serving plots that put the neighbourhood in danger, including one that Sebastian is leading that sends underprivileged individuals out into the zombie-infested world in search of riches to bring back (they all mostly die). The Commonwealth’s regular citizens are becoming weary of how unjust everything is in the meanwhile. It becomes apparent that the core of Commonwealth society cannot hold, as demonstrated by a disgraced former soldier called Tyler Davis (Cameron Roberts) freaking out.
RIP, Sebastian
and disintegrate Due to Eugene and Max’s deeds, the Commonwealth succeeds. Pamela hosts the city-customary state’s anniversary party in an effort to put all of these scathing accusations of corruption behind her. Unfortunately, she intends to extensively showcase Sebastian in it to reassure the public that he is not the entitled brat he appears to be. Additionally, Max records Sebastian boasting about how Commonwealth residents are mindless lambs. The anniversary event is interrupted by her and Eugene playing the recording, inciting a commotion. Sebastian is murdered by a walker bite during the commotion (the walkers were formerly Commonwealth janitors slain by Lance’s thugs).
Eugene On Trial
Naturally, Pamela rushes to blame Eugene, the Alexandrian who is the loudest and most rebellious, for Sebastian’s passing. He is put on trial for his crimes with the hope that Yumiko, another Alexandrian, will bring charges. She acts as his defence counsel instead. Nevertheless, Eugene is convicted after a bogus trial. Thankfully, the Mercers show up at his detention facility to free him.
22 Outpost
The remainder of Eugene’s group is collected up and transported to the terrible work camp known as “Outpost 22” while Eugene is on trial for his “crimes.” They are put to the utmost laborious labour on a project to construct a railroad line connecting The Commonwealth and another village by the totally autocratic Commonwealth troops there. The name of such a community is Alexandria.
Yes, an Alexandrian labour camp is where Negan, Ezekiel, Kelly (from Angel Theory), and many other people are located. Ezekiel and Negan are able to organise a rebellion against their Commonwealth captors. To save the infant Hershel, Daryl, Carol, Maggie, and Connie (Lauren Ridloff) skulk through the Alexandria sewers. Unfortunately, they are unable to locate the daughter of Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) and Rosita (Christian Serratos).
The Governor Let Loose
The released Alexandrian inmates and a few Commonwealth defectors take a train back to the city in The Walking Dead’s penultimate episode in order to depose Pamela. Pamela, regrettably, discovers that Mercer is aiding the Alexandrians and sets up a trap for them in The Commonwealth railway station.
After a shooting, Tyler Davis dies and Judith Grimes is injured critically (Cailey Fleming). The party rushes to the hospital to get Judith some medical attention after Daryl issues an urgent retreat order. Unfortunately, The Commonwealth’s security has been penetrated by a large group of (unusually intelligent) walkers. While the walkers destroy the city’s working class, Pamela intends to remain hidden in the estates. With the exception of one group who are still outside, all of our protagonists are imprisoned within The Commonwealth with walkers closing in on them as the series finale approaches. Aaron (Ross Marquand), Jerry (Cooper Andrews), a newly armless Lydia (Cassaday McClincy), and maybe Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari), assuming he isn’t already dead, make up this group.
