This Is Us fans, your wait is finally over. The NBC drama has finally given viewers the answers they’ve been waiting for after six seasons of wondering who Kevin would end up with. So, in This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14, did Kevin choose Sophie, Cassidy, or the wedding singer, Arielle, as his lifelong love? The cheesy and touching elements from “The Night Before the Wedding” are revealed below.
Kevin’s pre-wedding romance with Cassidy (Jennifer Morrison), Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge), or the wedding singer Arielle (Katie Lowes) is revealed, as well as what it means for his eventual happy ending. In This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14, Kevin wakes up alone the morning of the wedding. We finally catch up to Randall asking Kevin about the night before in a montage of some of the day’s happenings. Sophie is no longer married, Kevin informs his brother. “I knew it!” Beth exclaims as she overhears. This throws the case into disarray. I need to locate Madison.” Kevin reveals he’s frightened of messing up again when Randall asks why he’s depressed that she’s single.
Who slept with Kevin? The mystery is solved in This is us Season 6 Episode 14
Randall, on the other hand, gives Kevin one of his great monologues in a confused manner. He mentions the Buffalo Bills’ four consecutive Super Bowl losses. Thousands, on the other side, believed the Bills had triumphed because some products were donated to countries in need. “The world is frickin’ insane, man,” Randall says, bringing everything full circle. It is illogical. But you and Sophie together make more sense than the majority of things. This time you’re not going to make a mistake. I’m aware of that.”
First, Rebecca (Mandy Moore) notices Sophie’s sadness and realizes it’s because of Kevin. Rebecca believes the timing isn’t right because Kevin isn’t ready for Sophie yet — but one day he will be, and if Sophie is still waiting for him then, he will be so amazing to her. After Rebecca’s song, Sophie and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) had a heart-to-heart discussion. “The timing is simply off right now,” Rebecca, who still thinks they’re married and 20 years old, tells Sophie. He isn’t prepared to meet you. He will be, but it will take some time. And I’m not sure if you can wait for that — I don’t know if I could. But when the time is right, he’ll be amazing.”

This Is Us story editor Danielle Bauman, who wrote “The Night Before the Wedding”, wrote that Kevin and Sophie’s reunion melted viewers’ hearts. Kevin’s future will be spent with his first love. Sophie was always the one. While some fans have complained that the outcome is too predictable for such a twisting program, the poetry of it fits perfectly. We have a Pearson college sweetheart romance (Randall and Beth), a Pearson stranger-in-a-bar romance (Jack and Rebecca), a friend-turned-partner romance (Miguel and Rebecca), a business romance (Toby and Kate), and lastly, a high-school sweetheart romance (Kevin and Sophie) (albeit in a roundabout way). That pretty much covers all of the non-app-based love-story tropes. Maybe now we can all have a Pearson love story that we can relate to. Here’s to that, as well as the resolution of the true-crime-with-sex mystery and the other Pearson happy endings to come in the show’s last four episodes.
