The much-anticipated fourth season of Andy Wolton’s British comedy TV show Trying is now available. People liked the show when it first came out on Apple TV+ in 2020. It was about a couple named Nikki and Jason who are adopting a child and dealing with the difficulties of being parents.
Coming up in the next season, Esther Smith and Rafe Spall, who play Nikki and Jason, are getting used to being parents to Tyler and Princess, the kids they adopted. But, as every parent knows, having kids isn’t always easy.
After six years of going through the adoption process, the new clip for Season 4 shows the family facing new problems together. Nikki and Jason are still getting used to being parents. They don’t have much time for themselves because they have to take care of their growing family. Tyler has a hard time at school because he is not popular, so Jason forms a youth soccer team to help him and other outcasts from the neighborhood.
There may be a bigger problem, though, because Princess is now a teenager and wants to find her real mother. Princess is eager to find out about her past and find out why her birth mother left her, even though she is happy and stable with Nikki and Jason.
Nikki and Jason have a close group of friends and family who are there to help them through these new hurdles and make them laugh along the way. The show continues to mix funny and touching moments, making it accessible and fun for people of all ages to watch.
Smith and Spall will be joined by Sian Brooke and Darren Boyd, who are back for Season 4, as well as Scarlett Rayner and Cooper Turner, who play Princess and Tyler when they were younger. Music from London-based pop star BEKA will be on the new season’s soundtrack, which will give the show more feeling.
Season 4 of Trying starts on Apple TV+ on May 22, and new shows will air every week until July 3. Remember to check in on Nikki, Jason, and their family as they continue to love, laugh, and become parents.
