In this episode of Vinland Saga, Canute and his band of warriors, including the Jomsvikings, strategize to seize Ketil’s farm. But little does Ketil know, Canute has a cunning plan to persuade him to relinquish his farm without force. Canute values his men as valuable assets and believes they should not be squandered in battle. As Ketil and his men arrive at the farm, they discover that Arnheid attempted to flee with her spouse. In a shocking turn of events, Ketil’s anger boils over when he discovers that Arnheid has betrayed him.

In a fit of rage, he unleashes a brutal attack on her, leaving her battered and bruised. Adding to the already tense situation, Arnheid reveals that she is pregnant, leaving Ketil to grapple with the consequences of his actions. As Snake intervenes to prevent Ketil from taking Arnheid’s life, Ketil is forced to confront the severity of his actions and the depths of his brutality. Arnheid’s injuries are severe and her life hangs in the balance. Leif proposes to Ketil that he should sell Arnheid and Einar along with Thorfinn. However, Ketil refuses and informs Leif that Arnheid is his sole property, while he can take the other two slaves wherever he desires.
