Nudge is the title of the new episode of Walker (2021). Perez (Ashley Reyes), Walker’s (Jared Padalecki) soon-to-be new partner, has a bad start when she misidentifies the ranger as a suspect.

Trey (Jeff Pierre) offers to help Liam (Keegan Allen) with a project. Meanwhile, Colton (guest star Jalen Thomas Brooks) is struggling with his feelings for Stella (Violet Brinson).”

Walker Season 2 Episode 9 Recap
Liam accompanies Larry back to the Ranger station. His squad greets him, as does Trey, who praises him for saving him; Larry reciprocates. Because of Liam’s fraudulent police report, the judge believes the DA’s office’s trustworthiness is questioned. As a result, the judge frees Serano. Serano confronts Cordell outside the courthouse, but Cordell maintains his composure and informs Serano he’ll be watching. Geri puts up a poster for auditions at The Side Step and tells Augie to go. Augie informs Faye he’s in a band and will be playing. Augie agrees to let her come and record some content. Dan Miller and the cameras are brought up after Serano is seen out enjoying a steak.
Serano orders one of his guys to find Dan and return his evidence. Serano sees Cordell get dinner there. To talk to him, he invites Cordell, and Cordell invites Serano to leave. When Cordell says he’s going to suggest surrender, Serano keeps pushing him. Cordell says he expects Serano to make another mistake, and he’ll be there. Dan gives Colton tickets to a concert, but Colton wants to take Stella instead. Dan accepts, and Denise enters to compliment him. Denise also tells Serano to know he’s out on bond, and he panics. He finds the camera’s hard disc and plugs it in. He notices that Serano is gravely implicated in the video and that he wants a rematch with Cordell. In his pickup, Dan drives to the post office. As he goes to mail the hard disc to the DA, Serano’s men approach him.
He dashes back to his truck and loses their tail. He goes to the Walker Ranch to find Liam. Dan tells Liam he needs Liam as his lawyer and has the evidence to permanently imprison Serano, but he wants immunity and anonymity. Afraid of his family, Liam grudgingly agrees to help Dan. When Cordell arrives at The Side Step, Stella and Todd are studying. Geri enlightens him. Todd sings the vocabulary terms, that Augie and Colton hear. So Colton writes a song for the band but doesn’t sing. After hearing Todd sing, they decide to invite him. Colton and Stella watch the band practice. Cordell, Larry, and Denise meet with Liam, who says he has video proof implicating Serano. So long as they obtain the evidence, they agree on immunity and anonymity. Dan hides in the Walker Ranch’s barn as someone approaches. While Bonham and Abeline are out of town, he tries to hit whoever it is. Serano calls Dan. He offers him a deal for the evidence. So long as he gives him the hard drive.
Dan calls Liam to cancel the deal. Cordell and Larry are frustrated with Dan as he tries to cancel the deal. He informs Larry he knows who Liam was talking to, Cordell finding it out after understanding the one person Liam would be unwilling to genuinely help. The Rangers run Dan’s plates and he places an APB on them. Following a radio transmission, Cordell arrives at the train station and urges them to notify the team. Dan enters the train station and is sent to Serano. Cordell arrives and one of Serano’s men draws a gun. Dan flees and Serano pulls a revolver, holding a woman prisoner. Serano abandons the woman as Cordell pursues. Serano hijacks a car, and Cordell pursues him. To avoid a semi-truck, Serano runs a red light, sending his automobile airborne. Serano dies as Cordell approaches the driver’s side. Liam meets Dan and provides him documentation granting him immunity and anonymity despite Serano’s death.
Incriminating Serano’s entire network will help shut it down. Liam tells Dan he doesn’t like him and that he was connected and got the hard drive. Dan says Liam owes him, but Liam says saving Earl is one thing, but covering up a crime is another. Denise arrives to congratulate Cordell at The Side Step. To keep Liam’s client’s identity hidden from them, not Serano, Cordell tells Denise. Cordell claims he went to the train station. As Colton works up the nerve to ask Stella to the show, the band starts playing and Todd dedicates the song to her and Faye. Colton hides the tickets and listens to the band. Colton subsequently chats to Geri, who tells him he needs to tell Stella how he feels since Todd has already made a move. At end of the episode, Denise is watching the video from the cameras back at the DA’s office. She watches Abeline and Cordell having a talk in which he blames himself for the fire.
