Walker Season 3 Episode 6 Recap
Walker is still unable to find time to speak with his brother about their current experience in the immediate wake of Stella and August being detained for hosting an underage party at the Side Step. Abby pays Stella’s bail and is furious that Walker abandoned his daughter. Walker believes Stella lied to him about the family car and feels the same way about this situation. Walker chooses to make the time to meet with Liam after disagreeing with Stella and Abby over how each of them handled the issue. The two brothers then set out to have a long-overdue chat. Trey Barnett meets up with Kevin, an old buddy who is now the head of staff for the mayor. After the mayor gets a severe death threat, Trey and Cassie Perez decide to visit a formal mayoral function covertly.
Cassie is consigned to the sidelines while Trey is assigned to accompany the mayor’s personal assistant Laila throughout the ceremony. But suddenly a lethal nerve poison, apparently intended for the mayor, renders Kevin unconscious and links him to the terrorist organisation that kidnapped Walker and Liam. By going to the location where they were both kidnapped and tortured by the anarchists, Walker and Liam directly confront their common experience, with Liam clearly tormented. Liam is overwhelmed by unpleasant memories and is dismayed that all of his recent treatment with wild horses seems to have done him no good. Even months after discovering this was a hoax, Liam is still tormented by his assumption that his brother was dead. He relates how their captors made him believe they had killed Walker and forced him to bury the body.
Walker looks into an abandoned refinery where they believe the anarchists are storing the nerve toxin after learning about Kevin’s predicament from Cassie and Trey. Before Liam kills the anarchist who was working on the nerve toxin to protect his brother, Walker confronts the man and is almost killed. Furthermore, Liam knows that the terrorist is the one who deceived him while he was a captive. Not only do the two brothers fully come to terms with their common experience, but also with how they have separately spent their adult lives. Stella and Abby are worried about August’s ambivalence in hosting the party and the fact that he blames their father for his behaviour rather than taking responsibility for it. Walker tries to apologise to Stella for how he treated her at the party when he gets home, only to find that she has moved out. Stella is getting ready to start her own future on her terms, leaving the rest of her family behind with the help of her lover Colton.
