The entire trailer for the sequel to 2020’s independent action thriller film, The Wrath of Becky, was released by Quiver Distribution in April. Lulu Wilson is back for the sequel.
Amanda Brugel, Kevin James, and Joel McHale also appeared in the first film. The plot is centered on a defiant 14-year-old girl and her father’s weekend retreat to a lake cottage, which quickly goes from relaxing to terrifying when a band of fugitives led by the ruthless Dominick bursts in.
Becky, now 16 years old, introduces the movie by explaining what she’s been up to in the two years after she avenged her father at the hands of the neo-Nazis depicted in the previous movie. It describes Becky’s latest revenge escapade, in which a band of right-wing extremists plots to seize control of a Town Hall. After stealing her dog, the protagonist of the story, who is also her namesake, causes trouble for the group. Seann William Scott, Denise Burse, Jill Larson, Courtney Gaines, Michael Sirow, Aaron Dalla Villa, Matt Angel, and Kate Siegel all star alongside Wilson.

Two years after she escaped a violent attack on her family, Becky attempts to rebuild her life in the care of an older woman – a kindred spirit named Elena. But when a group known as the “Noble Men” break into their home, attack them, and take her beloved dog, Diego, Becky must return to her old ways to protect herself and her loved ones.
Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote helmed and co-wrote the film The Wrath of Becky. On May 26th, theaters will play host to the premiere of the sequel.
