Manifest Season 4 Part 2: What Happened to Fiona Clarke and Captain Bill Daly? Are They Dead?
What happened in ‘Manifest’ Season 4 Part 2? Explained!
What happened in Manifest?
The story begins with the premise that Montego Air Flight 828 disappeared for five and a half years after experiencing a few minutes of turbulence. When it returns, the passengers discover that they have jumped forward in time to November 4, 2018, while for them, only a few minutes had passed. The passengers on Flight 828, including the Stone family (Ben, Michaela, Cal, Grace, and Olive), find themselves with supernatural abilities called “callings.” These callings guide them to help people in need or intervene in dangerous situations.
The passengers realize they have a “death date” set for June 2, 2024, which is the countdown to the end of their lives. The remaining time they have is equal to the duration they were missing during the plane’s disappearance. In Season 3, a passenger named Angelina (Holly Taylor) becomes obsessed with Ben and Grace’s infant daughter, Eden. She fatally stabs Grace and kidnaps Eden. Additionally, Cal touches the plane’s tail fin and disappears.
Several significant events take place in the storyline of Manifest Season 4. Here’s a recap:
- Cal reappears five years older than before his disappearance, just as he was before the plane disappeared. In Season 4, he’ll be 20 years old.
- Ben sets off on a mission to locate his missing daughter, Eden. Another traveler named Eagan helps him out by telling him that Adrian (Jared Grimes), a former religious leader, and fellow traveler, keeps Angelina hidden away on a property.
- After Ben is kidnapped, he, Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh), Zeke (Matt Long), and Jared go on a mission to find and save him. Cal, however, is the hero in the end because he uses his gift to distract Angelina so that the others can escape.
- The Omega Sapphire is a significant piece of the plot because of how rare and hazardous it is. After acquiring the stone, Angelina is able to generate summonings at will.
Passengers continue to wonder if the callings are actually premonitions and not just memories. - Travelers must hurry to reach their destination before their scheduled expiration time. They learn that if they don’t succeed, it could mean the end of humanity as we know it.
Midway through Season 4, Zeke dies after surviving death once before by taking on Cal’s cancer. - After failing to win back Eden, Angelina takes hostages at her old high school in the series finale.
- Cal and Angelina get into an argument over the phone, and things take a shocking turn when the Omega Sapphire breaks into fragments.
- Meanwhile, the Omega Sapphire is putting everyone in peril by triggering volcanic activity. A piece of the stone breaks off and lodges itself in Angelina’s hand.
Angelina leaves a path of volcanic fissures at the conclusion of the season, signaling imminent doom. The government also detains all 828 passengers in an effort to regain control, and they confiscate Saanvi Bhal (Parveen Kaur) and Vance’s research to cancel the death date. These developments establish the show’s climax and leave various storylines open for future episodes. Will Saanvi and Vance be able to find a way out of this predicament? Tune in to find out.
