May also paid a visit to Nathan who was ecstatic with how well Newton and he got along with her. Working with Lee was a chore for Joseph. He and Millie aspired to create their own company.
The students at Elizabeth’s school wondered if Lucas and Jack would be married as they passed by. Mr. Landis arrived and informed Elizabeth that her teaching certificate for Angela had been rejected. Lee also spoke with Mike and inquired about his plans for Hope Valley. Mike’s lack of any intentions for the valley surprised Lee. Meanwhile, Lucas took Jack to Faith for dental work because he was having problems. Faith reassured Lucas that he was handling Jack admirably. Mr. Landis’ hat had been glued. Cooper, Elizabeth assumed, was the one who admitted to not liking Mr. Landis. She didn’t have any proof, though. Elizabeth returned home after meeting with Rosemary, while Nathan and May enjoyed dinner. Lucas was reading to Jack, she noticed. After that, Lucas headed to the salon to get Elizabeth’s dinner. As he slammed to the ground, someone hit Lucas. The next morning, Elizabeth noticed the black eye and inquired.
Lucas, on the other hand, decided not to inform her. Bill attempted but failed to catch Walden in a Brookside con. Ms. Thornton and her son were cautioned by Lucas to stay away from Walden. When the man who may have been responsible for the hit-and-run entered the town, Joseph observed his damaged car. Joseph took the man to jail, but he claimed that he had nothing to do with the hit-and-run. Faith wonders if her and Carson’s relationship appeared to be smooth to others. It required a lot of work, she explains. She wonders if Molly is OK with her single status. Molly is content in her life since she has a great daughter and wonderful friends. The phone goes off.
