Supergirl Season 5 premieres on Sunday, October 6 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).
The season was ordered in January 2019, and filming began that June.
Melissa Benoist stars as Kara. She is joined by Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, Katie McGrath, Jesse Rath, Nicole Maines, David Harewood, and Azie Tesfai, who was introduced as a recurring character in the fourth season, and Andrea Brooks, who was introduced in the second season, who were promoted to regulars.
