In the second season of the well-liked crime drama series The Cleaning Lady on FOX, actor Naveen Andrews will portray Robert Kamdar, the former lover of Nadia Morales. Andrews is a well-known British-American actor who has starred in a number of critically praised TV programs and movies. According to Deadline Robert Kamdar, a character played by Naveen Andrews in The Cleaning Lady season 2, is “gregarious and engaging.” The relationship between Nadia Morales and her husband Arman is complicated by Kamdar. Who is Naveen Andrews?

On January 17, 1969, Naveen William Sidney Andrews was born in London. Both of his parents were immigrants from Kerala, India, who were Indian. He applied to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London during his senior year of high school and was accepted. David Thewlis and Ewan McGregor were two of his classmates. As the older of two brothers, Naveen has always been interested in performing. When Naveen was five years old, a teacher told his parents that he had exhibited an interest in acting. The movie London Kills Me by Hanif Kureshi included Naveen’s debut performance (1991). For his performance in Wild West, Naveen was nominated for the Evening Standard Drama Awards’ Most Promising Newcomer in 1993.. He was a 1993 San Remo Film Festival best actor nominee for the BBC’s The Buddha of Suburbia.

Jaisal, born to Naveen’s ex-math teacher Geraldine Feakins, and Naveen Joshua, born to Elena Eustache, are his two sons. He splits his time between Los Angeles and Hawaii, the location of the Lost (2004) movie.

Throughout his career, this gifted actor with expressive eyes has consistently worked, and his part as Sayid Jarrah in the hit television series Lost helped him gain further recognition (2004). For his performance, Naveen was nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe, and critics highly praised him.  In the critically acclaimed limited series The Dropout on Hulu, he most recently played Ramesh Sunny Balwani.
