Yellowstone, the hit series from Paramount, recently returned for a fourth season, giving fans a glimpse into the fates of their favorite characters. Its return also saw Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) uncover the identity of the assailant who plotted to murder his family, and an underwhelming encounter left viewers unsatisfied. Season four chronicled the aftermath of the attempted murders of three members of the Dutton family, which was eagerly anticipated. Jamie finally realized his biological father was behind the attacks, to to the delight of the audience and Jamie himself. Fans finally got to watch Jamie confront him with a gun in episode six, but things took an unexpected turn when he suddenly broke down in his father’s arms. The trailer for the upcoming episode “Keep the Wolves Close” shows Beth (Kelly Reilly) testing new ideas for Market Equities’ massive Montana project, which includes an airport, casinos, condos, a ski resort, shopping, and more. They want to master-plan a town directly around Dutton Ranch, which is an issue. Beth says to her father in the trailer that “the ranch will be here in four years dad, just take strategy sacrifice. this is just the beginning”. Beth undoubtedly recognizes she can’t reveal Market Equities all her cards so quickly. There may be some sacrifice involved, but her strategic thinking will be put to the test in a variety of ways, which should be intriguing to see.
