As the Duttons confronted yet another rival interested in stealing their land in season 3, Yellowstone finally came into its own and established its footing. Season 3 ended on a dramatic cliffhanger that put three Duttons in grave danger and forced them to fight for their lives. Tate (Brecken Merrill) is still dealing with the effects of his kidnapped at the start of season 3 of Yellowstone. After being kidnapped, Kayce (Luke Grimes) and Monica’s (Kelsey Asbille) son Tate were rescued at the end of Yellowstone season 2. Monica and Tate are still living on the ranch with Kayce as Season 3 begins, and it’s become a more permanent scenario. Monica sends Tate off to camp with John on the ranch to help him recover from his trauma. This also provides Kayce and Monica an opportunity to mend their shattered relationship.
‘Yellowstone Season three welcomes Josh Holloway
Jamie is back to work as the Dutton Ranch’s attorney, and he uses his legal wizardry to keep his family safe from the ramifications of killing the Beck Brothers and their men. Kayce assumes the position of Livestock Commissioner. In the aftermath of the Beck Brothers’ attack, John agrees to relinquish his position as Livestock Commissioner, which entails “protecting” the ranch. Kayce eventually gets the job, and she is fantastic at it.
Meanwhile, the Duttons learn that they have a new foe in town: Market Equities. This investment firm purchased Jenkins’ property and now wishes to purchase the Dutton Ranch. They aim to build an airport on the site as well. Roarke (Josh Holloway) has arrived in town to figure out how to accomplish this.

In the third season of ‘Yellowstone,’ John Dutton declines a large offer to acquire his property. Roarke and Market Equities want to purchase up the land of John Dutton and the other ranchers in the area and make them ridiculously wealthy. They put together a $500 million bid for the Dutton Ranch, which John turns down. He promised his father that he would maintain the land in the family and protect the legacy, and he intends to honor his word. Despite the fact that the value of the land will continue to rise until he is unable to pay it. However, Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Jamie (Wes Bentley) agree that their father should sell the money. Regardless of her feelings, Beth sticks by her father and begins shorting Market Equities shares to oppose them.
Now it’s time for Jamie Dutton to discover the truth about his parent’s relationship.
Around this time, the governor appoints Jamie to the position of Attorney General of Montana. Jamie realizes that he is not a biological Dutton at this point. Instead, after his father murdered his mother, John and his late wife Evelyn adopted Jamie when he was a baby. Jamie locates his true father, who is now free, and informs him that the only way to take over the Dutton empire is to “murder the king.” Kayce, his younger brother is doing well as Livestock Commissioner, and ranchers want him to run for Governor. While Beth and Rip (Cole Hauser) have chosen to take their love to the next level by proposing to each other. Beth, on the other hand, has yet to tell Rip why she is unable to have children.

The third season of Yellowstone closed with what appeared to be a coordinated assault on the Dutton family. While assisting a woman with a flat tire, John was shot on the side of the road. After gunmen invaded his workplace, Kayce took safety behind his desk. And Beth was packing up her office when an explosive item was opened by her helper. Fans were left wondering who was behind the attacks as the season came to a close, and who would make it through Season 3 alive.
When Yellowstone season 4 starts on the Paramount Network on Sunday, Nov. 7, fans will find out who lives and who dies. Peacock has Seasons 1 through 3 available.
