The Paramount Network drama “Yellowstone” is the hit show on television, breaking records and breaking hearts last season. While the series’ excellent fourth season receives international acclaim, the cast and crew have returned to work on the highly anticipated fifth season. Yellowstone season 5 is set to launch on the Paramount Network this fall. With that in mind, why not talk to Cole Hauser who plays the tough rancher Rip Wheeler on “Yellowstone.” he has provided some insight into what is going on on the set of the show.
In a new interview with Gold Derby, Cole Hauser explains that the first couple of episodes have already concluded production, and he has nothing but praise for his work thus far., “The first two episodes were fantastic.” We just finished two and we’ve started three,” Hauser remarked of his filming progress.
What occurs in the episodes remains to be known. Consider that Rip and Beth are now married, which should make for an interesting dynamic! Fans can still hope for the day when Beth would alter her mind about Carter. She’s carrying a lot of weight right now because she hasn’t been able to give her husband Rip a kid of their own. she will also have to contend with having her adoptive brother Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) under her thumb after blackmailing him in season four.
The actor continues, referring to how Rip’s strong and guarded appearance frequently hides a gentler nature behind, creating an interesting juxtaposition between “the death and destruction that he can sometimes create and the love that he has for the family.”
Cole Hauser also mentions that one of his favorite aspects of his role on the show is that he gets to be involved in a variety of different universes. On the one hand, we know that he will have the opportunity to hang out with the Bunkhouse and do some pretty great things with them. On the other hand, he frequently collaborates with Kelly Reilly and Kevin Costner. He gets to do a little bit of everything, and we believe Season 5 will be the most action-packed yet. Could he become overwhelmed by the fact that he’ll be caught up in nearly every aspect of the Dutton Ranch?
We also hope that there will be additional opportunities to witness Rip in a vulnerable state. It’s very good to peel back the layers and see someone a little softer underneath, as tough as he can be at times. It’s one of the things that distinguishes him!
Yellowstone Season 5 premieres on November 13.
