Dwayne tells his team that he does identify the man in the video and that they first met in Hawaii in 1984. We see Dwayne’s father during a period of success in a flashback scenario. His family was well-off, and Dwayne drew a lot of attention at school because his father was a professional wrestler. Julien, a new student at his school, tries to embarrass Dwayne by questioning if Rocky Johnson is truly his father. Dwayne brings a signed photo of himself with his father to school to establish his point, but Julien has a photo of himself with Rocky as well, which he uses to further discredit Dwayne. In light of her approaching trial against Greg Yao, Lia begs her daughter to take over the business. Dwayne, meanwhile, wears his father’s tag team title belt to school to prove he is Rocky’s son. Julien is unable to refute this, so he instead dares Dwayne to a wrestling match. Julien holds a lifelong vengeance against Dwayne, who eventually wins the match.
